Diario di bordo - Logbook
La seconda parte del tour Hellenico è composta da 20 tratte, che si siono svolte in poco meno di 20 ore.
I Video raccontano tutte le 3.112 miglia nautiche sorvolate, tradotte sono 5.7634 Chilometrti.
Dall'aeroporto militare Stefanovikion, nei pressi di Larissa, ritorniamo nelle isole del sud Egeo fino a Ermoupoli nell'isola di Siros, passandom per Neos Pirgos, Calcide, Armarynhos, Sud Golfo di Eueba, isola di Giaros.
Nuova tappa per Naxos e landing kalimnos. Si procede dunque verso la Turchia. In seguenza: Iraklidi a Theologos Beach, la deserta isola di Pachia, ancora a sud sorvolando Paralia Plaka dell'isola di Tilos, in prossimità di Megalo Chorio virata a sinistra verso la spiaggia di Paralia Kokkini, sulle onde dell'Egeo per raggiungere Rodi e poi il comune di Farilaki.
Di fronte abbiamo ancora il mare blu profondo e all'orizzonte i monti del passato impero Ottomano. L'aeroporto di Kastellorizo ci attende, nell'arcipelago del Dodecanneso, Egeo Meridionale. Le coste in lontananza sono di Andifli:è già Antalya
Successiva tappa: ritorno a Rodi, le ali del nostro Piper volteggiano su Pefki. Tagliamo l'isola e ci stacchiamo ad Alone beach, sopra lo stratto dell'isola di Karpathou, per atterrare nell'aeroporto omonimo a sud dell'isola. Per l'isola di Creta ci distanzia la prossima tappa: costeggiando Kasos, raggiungiamo l'isola di Creta a Paleocastro, poi verso il capo dell'agio Nikolaos e dritti ad ovest per il landing all'aeroporto Statale di Candia "Nikos Kazantzakis"
Quando affrontiamo la nuova rotta, Ivao ci indirizza verso nord, stavolta il landing è previsto all'Ikaria National Airport, nell'iola omonima popsta fra le Sporadi Meridionali. Di nuovo a Creta, per aterrare all'aeroporto Pubblico Airport "Vitsentzos Kornaros" di Sitia, passando per l'aeroporto di Astypalaia, dove faremo scalo in breve.
Tuttavia, a Creta c'è un altro aeroporto, quello internazionale della Canea "Ioannis Daskalogiannis", che raggiungiamo per poi riprendere il nostro viaggio verso l'isola di Milos.
166 miglia nautiche ci attendono ora per raggiungere l'Aeroporto Nazionale dell'isola di Chios, sorvolando prima Antiparos e successivamente Paros e le coste di Ikaria.
La nuova tratta ci riporta ad Atene, sorvolando dapprima l'isola di Idrousa e la capitale ellenica, atterriamo all'aeroporto di Tatoi che ospita il museo areunautico di Acharnes.
Ripartenza sorvolando il Monastero del Taxiarchs sulla collina di Zografou ad Atene, passaggio obbligato sulle rovine del Partenone e delle Cariatidi, giunti al porto deviamo per l'isola di Egina per poi sorvolare il Peloponneso. Scalo a Kalamata.
La nuova tratta ci porta a Astypalaia e di nuovo in cielo per l'Egeo, prua a nord: Kalimnos, golfo di Leros, le coste di Lepsia, qualche grado ad est per raggiungere Samos, l'aeroporto internazionale Aristarchos
Tappa 37 circumnavigazione dell'isola di Samos, e rotta verso nord ovest upper Chios, a Lesbos virata per scendere a Ifastos. Nella nuova tratta l'obiettivo è il golfo di Pagaseo, all'aeroporto di Nea Anchiaos. landing e giusto il tempo di organizzare il nuovo volo per l'aeroporto internazionale di Atene Eleftherios Venizelos.
La penultima tappa ci aspetta. Diretti all'aeroporto di Ippokratis ad Antimachia e ci prepariamo a terminare il tour tornando a Rodi, sorvolando l'isola di Tilos, atterrando a Diagoras.
The second part of the Hellenic tour consists of 20 sections, which took just under 20 hours.
The Videos tell all the 3.112 nautical miles flown over, translated as 5.7634 Kilometres.
From Stefanovikion military airport, near Larissa, we fly back to the South Aegean islands to Ermoupoli in Syros island, passing through Neos Pirgos, Chalcis, Armarynhos, South Gulf of Eueba, Giaros island.
New stage for Naxos and landing kalimnos. So we proceed to Turkey. In succession: Iraklidi to Theologos Beach, the deserted island of Pachia, still south flying over Paralia Plaka of the island of Tilos, near Megalo Chorio turn left towards the beach of Paralia Kokkini, on the Aegean waves to reach Rhodes and then the municipality of Farilaki.

Next stop: return to Rhodes, the wings of our Piper hover over Pefki. We cut the island and detach ourselves from Alone beach, above the layer of the island of Karpathou, to land in the airport of the same name in the south of the island. For the island of Crete, the next stage distances us: skirting Kasos, we reach the island of Crete at Paleocastro, then towards the head of the Nikolaos agio and straight west for the landing at the state airport of Candia "Nikos Kazantzakis"
When we face the new route, Ivao directs us towards the north, this time the landing is expected at the Ikaria National Airport, on the island of the same name in the Southern Sporades. Back to Crete, to land at the "Vitsentzos Kornaros" Public Airport of Sitia, passing through the Astypalaia airport, where we will make a stopover shortly.
However, in Crete there is another airport, the international airport of Chania "Ioannis Daskalogiannis", which we reach to then resume our journey to the island of Milos.
166 nautical miles are now waiting for us to reach the National Airport of the island of Chios, flying first over Antiparos and then Paros and the coasts of Ikaria.
The new route takes us back to Athens, first flying over the island of Idrousa and the Greek capital, we land at Tatoi airport which houses the Acharnes aeronautical museum.
Restart flying over the Taxiarchs Monastery on the Zografou hill in Athens, obligatory passage over the ruins of the Parthenon and the Caryatids, once we reach the port we deviate for the island of Aegina to then fly over the Peloponnese. Stopover in Kalamata.
The new route takes us to Astypalaia and back to the sky for the Aegean, heading north: Kalimnos, the gulf of Leros, the coasts of Lepsia, a few degrees east to reach Samos, the Aristarchos international airport
Leg 37 circumnavigation of the island of Samos, and north-west route to upper Chios, turning to Lesbos to descend to Ifastos. In the new section, the objective is the Gulf of Pagaseo, at the Nea Anchiaos airport. landing and just enough time to organize the new flight to Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos.
The penultimate stage awaits us. Headed to Ippokratis airport in Antimachia and prepare to end the tour flying back to Rhodes, flying over Tilos island, landing in Diagoras.
